The weekend was full of fun, food, and friends. We celebrated the two events with delicious New Orleans inspired foods and drinks. My favorite of which were the Catfish PoBoys from Johnny PoBoys. Close seconds were the beignets from Cafe Du Monde, Long Island Ice Teas from Bandstand on Bourbon Street, and the Resurrection from Spirits on Bourbon (featured on Jon Taffer's Bar Rescue).
Personally I made many good contacts with members of other AMA Chapter's Executive Boards. I am sure that these connections and relationships made will prove beneficial to my ability to lead the Penn State Marketing Association in the coming year. I was able to attend numerous speakers the best of which was Tom Martin, author of the Invisible Sale, and my inspiration to create this blog.
The Penn State Marketing Association had its efforts from the past year honored at this event as we took home the award of Silver Chapter for the 2013-2014 school year. All and all it was an amazing weekend and I hope to return next year!
